Slow Food Waveney Valley is a local branch, called a convivium, of the international Slow Food movement, based in Italy. Its aim:
"to protect the pleasures of the table from the homogenization of modern fast food and life."
We run regular events promoting quality local food and the issues surrounding it. Past events have included a supermarket debate, visits to various farms and vineyards, a ‘gourmet feast’ at the Angel Café, a Thanksgiving Feast at the Diss Corn Hall.
